Essential technologies support website operation and security; optional analytics are enabled after the visitor makes a choice.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small records stored on a device by a website or browser. localStorage and technical session identifiers can serve a similar purpose. They are not programs and do not themselves read files on the device.
Categories
- essential — form protection, routing, privacy-choice storage and account access;
- functional — language, interface and previously selected settings;
- analytics — anonymised measurement of visits, sources and errors;
- advertising — not set without a separate lawful basis and consent.
Controls
Where a settings panel is available, visitors can accept or reject optional categories. The choice can be changed by clearing site data or using the settings again. Blocking essential technologies may affect account access, forms or spam protection.
Retention and Providers
Essential records last for the session or up to one year; analytics records last for the period configured by the provider, normally no more than two years. If Yandex Metrica is connected, processing is performed by YANDEX LLC under its published terms and only after consent where required.
